I bought a custom slimline pen on a whim, because it seemed like a cool and practical gift to myself. I didn't expect to love it as much I do, and I won't be able to go back to dime-a-dozen pens! Joshua sent pictures of the stock he had and I chose my own wood block. It arrived beautifully packaged, and it fits my hand perfectly. It writes smoother and more evenly than any pen I've used, even on rough surfaces. I kid you not, I used a regular Papermate pen today and the difference is astronomical. The reason why you buy from small business. I ordered the wrong cutting board yet Joshua offered to make me a different one even though I made the mistake and it was a custom order. He was willing to take the loss on a large cutting board just to make me happy. That is a lot to ask of a small business. Big box guys would not even entertain this and simply say it was a custom order. A few days later he posted a picture of the original board for sale and I fell in love with it and now wanted that board not the new one he was making! He was so gracious and did send me the original board. It is gorgeous! It looks amazing in my kitchen and I could not be happier. The quality is incredible. I can not wait to order something else ….
